Emma Watson, an actress famous the world over for her role the Harry Potter series of films, has accomplished much at such a young age. Emma was born in Paris, France in 1990. When she moved to England while still young, her love for the performing arts bloomed and she excelled in academics and athletics, especially field hockey. The manner in which Emma received the coveted role of Hermione is incredible, indeed. The school where Emma attended, The Dragon School, was known to have an outstanding drama department.
The casting directors of the Harry Potter film held an audition at Emma’s school. She was chosen to play the role of a lifetime in 1990 and continues to play this role today, even preparing to film additional movies in the Harry Potter series with her co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint.
