Emma Watson, an  actress famous the world over for her  role the Harry Potter series of  films, has accomplished much at such a  young age. Emma was born in  Paris, France in 1990. When she moved to  England while still young, her  love for the performing arts bloomed and  she excelled in academics and  athletics, especially field hockey. The  manner in which Emma received  the coveted role of Hermione is  incredible, indeed. The school where  Emma attended, The Dragon School,  was known to have an outstanding  drama department.
 The casting directors  of the  Harry Potter film held an audition at Emma’s school. She was  chosen to  play the role of a lifetime in 1990 and continues to play this  role  today, even preparing to film additional movies in the Harry  Potter  series with her co-stars Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint.  Emma’s  character Hermione is one of the protagonists in the Harry Potter   series and is characterized by her wit, intelligence, and friendship   with Harry.The Harry Potter film series is unbelievably  successful, breaking  multiple box office records across the globe. Emma  has played a major  role in all of the Potter films to date, including  the major hits,  “Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban” and “Harry  Potter and the  Half Blood Prince.” Emma’s roles in the films have earned  her many  accolades, including AOL Moviegoer’s Award for Best Actress  and the  Phoenix Film Critics Society Award for Best Performance by a  Youth.Even while still preparing for more Potter films, Emma managed to make two other films, while still balancing her academic career! Emma played the role of an adopted daughter in the BBC piece, “Ballet Shoes.” Additionally, Emma lended her voice to the animated film, “The Tale of Despereaux” playing Princess Pea as well. This was Emma’s first piece of voice work.
There is no doubt that Emma Watson’s film career is just beginning, and Emma has high hopes for the future. However, in her down time, she enjoys cooking, sports, and fashion. She began a modeling campaign for Burberry in 2009.
