Green Day began simply as punk revivalists, recharging the energy of catchy three-chord punk-pop songs, and brought the sound to a new generation with "Dookie", their 1994 major-label debut.

When she moved to England while still young, her love for the performing arts bloomed and she excelled in academics and athletics, especially field hockey.
